1. Discuss the Intellectual Property code in the Philippines.
2. Discuss why it is important for the student to have this IP.

Answer:
1. Intellectual property is having our own critical ideas that we publish in public to be secured by the help of our government in law some examples are copyright, patents and trademarks. IP enables the author or the creator to earn recognition from what they create and also to have a equality between the author and the public interest.
       Republic Act 8293 Intellectual Property Code in the Philippines it contributes for the effective development of the domestic and creative activity, it protects and secure the exclusive rights of scientists, inventors, artists and other gifted citizens to the intellectual property and creations, particularly whe beneficial to the people for such periods as provided in this Act.

2. It is important for us to have this kind of law in order us to avoid violations in publishing a certain information that coming from its original source, for them to respect and ask for their approvals, also for us students in the future, some of us will also be like them that create a unique ideas so if we have this kind of law we can earn respect from the public interest and we can earn recognition just like them.

 How do you think information becomes a path to:

 a. Development?

 b. Prosperity? 

 c. Freedom? 

 d. Social Inclusion?

Own answer:

A. Development

 
     Information is a big help to the development because information is the way in order to have a knowledge in certain things that makes some discoveries and improvements.The way of exchanging knowledge or what we called information in a certain thing can enhance some of features where it is the cause of changing.

B. Prosperity

     An information can also a beneficial for success  because as we all know without any information we can't have an idea on how we are going to have prosperity in our life specifically in business term without information we cannot achieve a certain thing that makes us to success.

C. Freedom

     In other aspect information is also helpful in committing freedom because having a free-will will require a proper information that can give purpose in order to have freedom in a country and without this information, government cannot easily give freedom in reason of they do not know what people needed because they don't have any information so that's why information is important.

D. Social Inclusion

     Moreover in valuing people, information is also important to have this so called unity of each other, to value each of individual among the society. An information gives knowledge and understanding to the people where they can understand on what purpose in undertaking this social inclusion .

Question: 

    How will you describe media in the Philippines using the normative theories of the press?

Answer: 

      Base on my own opinion and on what I've researched, here in the Philippines nowadays we have these Social Responsibility Theory as we can see it allows free press without any cencorship but at the same time the content of the press should be discussed in public panel. However the media have their free will but not totally because there is always a limitation in giving facts and in connection to the other theories it lies between Libertarian and Authotitarian Theory so thats why it have free will but have also limitation.

Evolution of Communication

Own Description : 

        The evolution of our communication at the past we have an ordinary channels that we use in communicating and giving information that consumes more time indeed time by time there is an upgrades to those channels that we used where it makes people more fast to communicate, recieve and deliver information and people nowadays have the fastest communication because of the technology that has been created by people which makes their lives so easy.
